Our Sales Teams are relentless, and we are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Sales Engineer. In this technical role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Customer Development sales team. Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to the Customer Development sales team, offering guidance to customers and partners. Overcome objections and ensure a comprehensive understanding of Mimecast services.

  2. Opportunity Qualification: Technically qualify opportunities and make product recommendations based on customer needs.

  3. Product Presentations: Conduct dynamic product presentations to various stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of Mimecast services.

  4. Consultative Relationships: Develop consultative relationships with clients to become a trusted technical advisor, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions.

  5. Proof of Concepts (POCs): Run Proof of Concepts to showcase the effectiveness of Mimecast services and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  7. Partner Training: Train and support partners to enhance their capabilities in selling Mimecast services.

  8. Feedback Loop: Provide valuable feedback to internal stakeholders for continuous product enhancement and improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  2. Experience: Previous technical sales support or technical experience is preferred.

  3. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.

  4. Proactive and Adaptable: Be proactive, self-sufficient, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.

  5. Consultative Selling: Experience in consultative selling and working with demanding business customers.

  6. Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with networking, security technologies, and email systems.

  7. Travel: Ability to travel occasionally (less than 3 times per quarter).

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,000.00 base + incentive plan + benefits. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Individual pay offered will be determined by role, level, location, and individual capabilities.

Location:

This is a remote position based in the United States, with preferred locations in Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona.
