As a Product Manager at Cognicor, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our products. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Vision:

   • Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

   • Define and execute the product strategy to achieve business objectives.

2. Agile Methodologies:

   • Demonstrate expertise in Scrum and agile software development methodologies.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.

3. Software Development:

   • Possess a solid understanding of software development principles and practices.

   • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.

4. Coding and Designing:

   • While not directly involved in coding, have a good understanding of coding practices and design principles.

5. Product Development Architecture:

   • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the product development architecture.

   • Work closely with architects to ensure scalability and maintainability of the product.

6. User Experience (UX):

   • Apply UX knowledge and principles to create products that offer an exceptional user experience.

   • Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of the products.

7. Product Backlog and User Stories:

   • Manage the product backlog effectively, ensuring it aligns with business priorities.

   • Create and refine user stories, providing clear and comprehensive requirements for development teams.

8. Tool Proficiency:

   • Demonstrate proficiency in using relevant tools and applications to streamline product management processes.
     

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely-related field.

• 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, software development, and product development architecture.

• Experience with coding and designing principles.

• Knowledge of UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with UX teams.

• Proficiency in product backlog management and creating user stories.

• Ability to use relevant tools and applications to enhance productivity.
